Very good imagery on several levels. "Lost" in the title captures the confusion and abandonment of still loving when the lover has turned away. Tears and the tides are parallel waves of water, and the text form is a subtle reminder of the shifts in waves and emotion.
"Horizon" image in the last verse conjures up the long, empty line where water meets the sky, and in one word we share the painful longing of waiting for an unlikely return. Thank you for a compelling write!

with that title i was expecting something much different but great work on this poem keep up the good work and don't let any guys bring you down like that! I know its hard you just have to live through it!

Oh wow, this was TRULY beautiful. You captured the quote so brilliantly. You took it and made it your own. Originality sparks and imagery just shines through your heartfelt words. This was exactly what I was looking for. I hope the other entries are as well rounded as this one.

Im glad you enjoyed it. I was pretty sad when I was writing it because i had it nearly finished and accidentally deleted the whole thing. Luckily I managed to ressurect it once again. Definately time for bed
