Your face says it all
So closed and clueless
Your heart frozen in time
Not noticing the pain
How he uses you
Throws you to the curb
How you always crawl right back
Have you no shame?
You left your pride at the church
The day you signed your life away
Do you not hear me?
What I'm trying to tell you
You're just another fly
Only to be trapped and thrown away

Interesting
This poem is very intriguing and well written. I'm absoulutely jealous :-) My favorite part is the line, the day you signed your life away. It's just so... meaningful, to me at least. -
Good impact with a short poem, can totally relate. Its so hard to see people sign themselves away when it's plain to see they could get hurt. Clear message, good take on prompt.
Thanks for entering!
