Aye, when I teach history I say it is easy since I lived then. One student asked me how old I was when Columbus discovered America and he was serious.

There is a deeper meaning to this. And it is hiding just beneath the words you have written here. I like this as I found this - not so much funny - but profound. A great piece of writing.
