Pine cone

Missing image
The scent of pine
unfolds in a symphony of silver
writing poetry across bare skin ~

sharing grace with sunlight
as it captures the sterling verse
of every fallen treasure beneath a tree.

Hands held high
wandering forth in the direction of the wind
shimmering like harp strings
across the bough of my intention

and a hidden seed
charms my life
with a cathedral of wishes
hanging softly from my ornamental crest.

    So soft ...

and yes: simply charming! I loved the macrocosmic fitted into a microcosmic metaphor ...

    Well done, Poetess.
