Seashells

Missing image
Its afterlife began
washed upon tropical sands.
Sunlight, guided my eye,

upon a treasure
calling…

telling me its mine to have.

Once a home, now haunted.
An essence of power
harboring the language
of another world.

Now, resting in honor
within my windowsill.
Carrying the memory
of soft shores,

and the perfect serenity,
that one summer morn.

Author notes

1. opal

2. mermaid

3. lilacs

4. fountain (taken)

5. silk nightgown.

I claimed the charm "Seashells" from raspberry

Hey there. All you do is search through the other contestant lists, pick a charm that tickels your muse (make sure it has not already been taken) Go in and re-name your poem the charm you chose, ie "Mermaid"

Write your poem about your chosen charm.

Copy and paste your charm list into your AN along with the charm you claimed.

In the end, there will be 13 charms on our bracelet each having a different name.

Thank you so much my friend for joining in.
