heartless darkness in their eyes
they shuffle forward, their demise
for in the woods where shadows scream
a nightmare had a horrid dream
of grinning malice on the trees
that ends your life just to tease
dear… did you think us stable?
sit down, drink up from the table
cling to false hope for the sheep
eat this, drink that, forever sleep
drink it all please don’t share
scent of almonds in the air
no one ever said it’s fair
