At the dance I have come
with my mask in place
just once to pretend
that this is my face.
To dance gaily, I bend
I bow and take her hand
In fleeting moment I become
the hero, romantic man
as I draw her into my arms
all she sees is my many charms
The night spins on
and so do we
into the emptiness
of our sensuality.

WELL DONE
behind the mask one does hide and becomes the hero of the night and as this dance softly draws to a close a sensuality all its on starts to flow...beautiful! and thank you kindly for sharing it with me...

This was really good.. I like this imagery here, and the fact it's all really fake.. well done..
Best of luck.

So are you saying...."into the emptiness
of our sensuality" that you only do this at night? Is this a 'don't let the neighbors find out' sort of seceret? A great poem you got there of darkness. I thank you for entering.
