Click shutter then a flash
captured moments while they dash
beyond where we can touch the sky
held immobile for all time.

Shutter flash then a click
again the world a stiffened stick
as we pull albums from our mind
reviewing times back then

we find

nostalgia is
a word we know
where visions form
the life we show

as every footstep we have stepped
are painted travels we have kept.

I inherited one of those [actually a bunch of old cameras] and I just loved the pictures the took... They quit developing it just about everywhere so we did it ourselves... What a fun trip down memory lane!!!

Thank you. I remember these. It was my first camera handed down to me from my Mom, to her from her father. Kind of nostalgic when I think on it now. Sure wish I still had it.

Thank you my friend. Yes indeed, this is just such a memory for me. My mother received this camera as her first camera from her father when she was a kid. She handed down to me and it was my first camera then.

Such great memories came from that baby brownie.

      Thank you again. ~Pamela
