Bessie
Bessie was ever so nice
Even Lucy-Lue would agree
All that would be like ice
For now sun would show
Brett was ever so cute
Bessie always wanted him
She thought of the loot
He was a treasure, and she was the hunter
Bessie decided to tell Brett
And Brett looked oh so puzzled
With a small smile he said no
And his words were remembered
So Bessie went home with a rope
Her neck snapped, she hung with no hope

You capture troubled emotions from different ends of life and the tragedies that sometimes follows, emotional... keep it up.

Tragic story and it happens far too often, being turned down in a way that makes someone feel like all their hope is lost and the only option is to end the world as they know it.
