Fishie, fishie in the river,
How I wonder where you
are and why you're so far
even though you don't have a car
Even as the crickets talk,
I sit alone by the water
with my fishing pole hoping
to see you
Wishing I had a friend
I noticed a lost kitty
then gave her milk and
some attentino
Fishie, Fishie in the river
wont you please come to me
so that I take both you and
the kitty home?
Author notes
This poem, isn't exactly in its final format or stage, yet. But it seems like a good start. I might change Fishie in the river to Kitty at the river, at some point. By the way, I'm Mr. Cat

what is this?
did you enter the wrong contest? This contest was for an AP father/husband - I don't know how this piece comes close to anything about what makes you a good candidate - this makes no sense to me.
