A longing to
Not belonging here
Something to see
Never to touch
Sat here alone
For all my life
Fought so long
Trapped in this glass
Always to see your eyes
Never to touch your face
Shunned to disgrace
Pushing me away
If ever we did meet
So in my broken lines
Messages bogged
And alikened to madness
So sorry
Never meant to hurt you
Hands banging against glass
Screaming silent words
Breath not escapes
Cracks
A shatter and we all tumble
Tremble at the touch
Your life too will crumble
I know it should never be
Still I was young and so were you
So we held
And your light went away
We were never meant to be
You so beautiful and high
We all knew where I crawled
Lets leave it there
Where it ended on that day
So sorry
Broken in two us one
Over time we cried
You belonged not here
Left you in the night
Best thing I did
But not for me
Hurting every day
I am glad I did it
Never for me
