I'm walking down a deserted street,
But I'm following my feet, trying
To find my way back to that place
I called my own, and I tried, I
Called her phone today, but she
Wasn't there, farther and farther
Down a deserted road, following
The ghosts of yesteryear, and it hurts
Me, it scars my heart as I remember
Those broken nights, a history
Of violent fights that only
Served to drive us farther from
Ourselves, I'm trying to find
My way back to that place I was
Before, and her face haunts me,
She's one of those ghosts I left
Behind, but somehow I rewind that
Time, somehow I've reversed that day
That drove my love away, see this
Is why I'm lying here, silently
Pondering while lying next to
Her silent form, how I brought me
Back to that place I thought was
Mine, that love I felt my own, it
Took us days of quiet nights, and
These regrets, but I find myself
Where I once was, I am home.
