Tears That Flood My Ground

out of the blue we have met,
with no doubts and no regrets.
we let our hearts bloom inside and out,
and share our precious moments together.

i gave you everything that i can,
my love was so pure and only you.
that certain kind of feeling was so true,
to the extent i can't afford to loose you.

but as our love grows older,
coldness from you is what i felt.
then suddenly one night you're there,
staring with sad eyes and face.

without hesitation you told me,
unsure is what you are feeling.
you don't know if our love is right,
and you told me there is nothing wrong.

you said that i never had shortcomings,
that the problem is you not me.
but why do you need to waste this love,
if happiness is what we are feeling.

then now friendship is what we offer,
kindness in me to still befriend you.
twice you left and come back to me,
still accepting the way you feel.

but this second time we are ending,
friendship is what we are living.
i am trying to move on now and stand,
helping my heart beats one more time.

if you'll comeback again,
make sure that your feeling is sure.
you are ready to fight for the feeling,
because i don't know if i will say no.

i trully heart you so much,
but i am trying to calm it down.
tears that flood my ground,
are tears that hopefully will not comeback.

hi im kyrkx! it is still great if a love relationship will end as friends. because come to think of it, you loved the person that much and is that easy for you to throw it away and forget each other? though sometimes pain leads to anger.. but if there's a chance that you can befriend your former partner then you should grab the oppurtunity. it is better to live life without anger inside our hearts.

    yeah, it is good if you can befriend them, but sadly, it all doesnt end that way. good poem, and good imagery. a lot of emotion can be seen in your words. keep up the good work!

    thanks for entering i did like this poem although it really wasnt wht i was looking for. I was kind of looking for a more anger i need to vent kind of poem to let it out. but i did like this poem.

    I can relate to this in one time or another in my life. You are a very gifted girl. In life there are only two ways to go about things. Give up and move on, or be strong and hold hope. I think we both know which you chose and for that you've given others of us hope. Be strong my dear and don't lose that hope. EVen if it's not meant to be, there is always a freindship just as you've said.
    Keep that and always hold on because in your heart thats how it's meant to be.
