Skittle Toes, blow your nose,
jump to your feet and sing!
All the world is yours to own
as treasures we shall bring!
Skittle Toes, good luck grows
and dances through your life!
Soon you'll marry your dear love
and be a rich man's wife!
Skittle Toes, dance and sing
for time is flowing fast.
All the world's a battle ground
and good times may not last.
Skittle Toes, touch my cheek
and wish me well this day.
I'm off to fight the enemy
Now I'll salute and say...
I love you, darling Skittle Toes.
I always have, the whole world knows!

The ending was amazing. these lines did a wonderful job of tying up the poem.
i love this. The thing about skittle toes is that it's my boyfriend's new nickname for me. I love how without evening knowing the story behind it, you managed to capture the essence behind the nickname and the powerful emotions tied with these two words.

who's toes are actually shaped like skittles?
some willy wonka native that sings as he whittles
whittles little eclaire's for you
singing
'I'm off to fight the army ants
they've troops lined up in rows
and I'd not fight the little fiends
but to protect your darling toes
And if I die all melted and sticky
and if you crush my heart and your feet get icky
and you won't eat my liver for you're much too picky
you won't be missing much, its eclair'o'grammed to my darling skittle toes.'
(in that livers used to be the symbol of love, befroe hearts were.)
(By which I mean that I quite liked your loverly poemage, made me feel amiable.)
