A poem about no one at the last oak special academy.

(V1)
The first time we met,
The first time you saw my face,
I could see a flourish from the dead,
I could see-the smile on your face,
And I look across the waters high and wide,
I feel nothing new...

(V2)
I look down-gods choice of avenues,
Will you let me lose myself in you?
As I set my eyes on-
your-darkened-skin-tonight...
I know this is short lived as we can get,
But time...feels at my command tonight.

(V3)
And I look across the waters high and wide,
Gaze-into the open sky,
Hold your hand-from a thousand miles-away,
And if I could touch you right now-today,
I'd see the smile,
That's lightened my life,
Made my world-tremor,

(V4)
Oh I wish I could take you to the moon,
Sit on the ivory coloured ground and smile,
See you-more often than just once in a while,
Maybe one day-god as my witness-I'll be in your heart.

(V5)
But I've felt the tremors-through my hands,
You've made me an old man,
And I look across the waters high and wide...

(V6)
We'll pretend,
It-never-happened!
Cos' we'll look over our shoulders with-someone else,
Like-we never knew,
Tonight...
Oh,
Tonight...

Author notes

This is about someone and I wrote it ages ago. It's a topic on lost love I suppose, on how you can love someone truly forever but have to live with not being with them, because the circumstances will never be right, or one of them will always be thwarted in their attempt to 'get the other one'

just say what you feel.

    Love the line:

    Hold your hand-from a thousand miles-away

My favourite... And I like the picture on the side, it seems appropriate... WHEN did you write this one?

But yes... Very nicely written - as per usual! - and flows quite nice. Fantastic imagery...and my imagination ran alittle wild I have to admit hehe.

I really do enjoy reading what you write!! Id give you three of them little clapping things, but I only have two free ones...

    Much Love
    Kas
