So that when today's over
You'll hold me and tell me
You love me and you'll never hurt me.

I'm walking backwards
Because I feel like
Teaching you that these
Are things you should do
(Regardless of whether or not I'm walking backwards.)

    HAH this was pretty good, and yes, it is fine that you put the parenthesis in the title. I really like that you put a story in this and gave the title a meaning. Best I've read so far today. Great job. Thank you for entering my contest.
