I have been awaiting this day for many many years.
I have everything set and ready to go.
I done already selected the perfect cake,
I have already bought the perfect dress,
I have invited the prefect people
to help me celebrate yet another year
A year of worth, a year of happiness, a year of joy
A year of new beginning and end of old tendancies
A year of a open book just waiting to be filled
with new adventures written by me
But to my dissatisfation, none of those perfect people showed
leaving my perfect dress is left unworn
and my perfect cake slowly melting away
as those lovely twenty-one candles sink into it.
Chills overcome my shivering body
as my soul withers away on this tragic day
So instead of waiting on someone else
I am more than elated to say

Mine is on the 5th of June! Came in here to wish you another belated birthday. Normally I don't think about my own, but I was on the phone most of the time with so many people calling me to include ex-inlaws. I do hope you celebrated well and that life is good for you. Miss you!
