I lost everything
My friends, my family
My life even (the needle's beginning to sting)
All I wanted was to try it once
I never thought it would become apart of me

I became addicted
And I never did find something new
It ruins your life
It puts you on the street
Please, just think of that strife
That you THINK you can beat
It take away your usual stance
It shows no mercy
And it puts you in some kind of trance
It's all you'll ever do or see
For the sake of you
And all those you love
Whatever you do
Please do not shove
Meth or any drug
Into your life
You'll be pulled right out under the rug
And deal with of this strife.

in my religion class we were talking about drugs. so i decided to write a poem about meth. hope you like it. be as critical as you need to be.

this is good, but the wording in certain places is confusing, i love the begining, but the ending has me a bit confused. i dont understand wich poit of veiw your coming form, the drugie or a friend. and wat time is this from, durring addiction, or after recovery

its from the druggie warning others to stay away from meth. basically its during the recovery

this is amazing.....i did other drugs to keep me calm but once the high went a way i felt depressed and all this other shit.....i was in recovery...
and a convict at the age of 13...but i changed my life arround and now is all good......but that poem ws amazing.....

ah i had meth just once, trouble was it lasted for three years
took me that long to get off the rubbish. a good piece.
