I am fearfully awoken
The light betrayed me and perished
Now they see me
And I see them
The gauntest of figures stands in the closet
The voyeur of the night
Scaling me from shadows groaning
He clinches the doorpost
From the thrill
Fear has paralyzed me
I can’t run from my bed
The man under me
Will pull me down
With him
I hide in my covers
Terrified of peering out
For he may be inches away
From my face
To steal a ghastly kiss
Or to pluck out my eye?
I weep in panic
I burn orange flames turned blue
“God forgive me,” I scream
I howl out to the flames
Crushing sirens escape my mouth
Resonates and shatters all
Author notes
Based on a nightmare, and what I see in the dark.

Would this be the nightmare you had at my house?
I remember reading this and tisked at myself when I realized I had yet to comment it.
Lovely as usual,
You're breathing is poetic.

lol reminds me of the Freddie movie scenes
I liked this, it was a good fear write, similar to some of my work(The Black Rose, The Ballad of the Scythe, and Fear is What It Seems) -
Wow. That was my first impression. And as I was reading it I could only think of a horror movie. You did a wonderful job of detail and description in this. It's really amazing. Can't wait to read more!
