Up in the sky, its a bird,
its a plane, no its........ nothing....
Lessening the point, denying action
to the woes them, his reason for
election.
Remember the definition, the
republic, ( where's the dictionary)
the people needs............
Lost to an empty suit,
Power
Power
Power
Why vote, we'll all lose
to the totalities.
Up in the sky, its a bird,
its a plane, no its..........our sin
come to bite us in the butt.

I liked this poem...not sure if I totally 'get' it. Reminds me of a cool lyric from a song by Rush..."if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice". I wouldnt change anything except for maybe the end...I think your choice of ending made the poem come off as being not as serious as I would have ended it. You might have ended it that way on purpose though...either way...nice job.

Liked this... sometimes voting is like choosing the better of two evils but at least we are allowed to choose. We can stand up to the plate and make a stand if we so choose thank you for sharing this piece with us.

You didn't put option in authors notes, therefore you will not be included in judging - as I do not know the option chosen.
You did mix a nice play on things between, however. The start and end seem too repetitive in such a short space of time but apart from that, an intriguing entry.
Thanks for entering,
