The Magus of the Law

A Majickal Childe upon a White Horse,
My meaning was truly symbolic, of course.

To my fellow Pagans and Friends of the Craft,
The Law, Love Under Will, was your saving raft.

As first called by my mother, "The Beast 666",
I became appellation, quite so full of tricks.

The Aoen of Horus, I displaced old Osiris,
By a message from space in '04 I did guide us.

And from the First Order did I weave my spell,
A New Order Magician was I, they did tell.

Author notes

And to me is the translated Book of the Black Earth, the flesh-bound Necronomicon, dedicated!

Ad Meiorum Cthulhi Gloriam

A great work and a true pleasure to read. I enjoy reading your writings as each are very intelligent and beautiful. Much of your works inspire thought and emotion. Of course, this work in particular, I really enjoyed.

    Wow!

In Lovecraft's research for his stories he pulled elements from many different religions and spiritual paths. You have done the same here and very well. This is an excellent tribute to the Godfather of Modern Horror. In your second to last stanza the rhyme is a bit stretched. I thoroughly enjoyed the vision you've created here. Keep your pen to the page and thanks for entering! Do you have your copy of "The Book of the Law"?

Eerie as can be and rather ominous! I like that in a Prophet Love the old timey language, the reference to outer space and the reference to the Beast! Intriguing couplets that flow well and a taut concise message. Kudos!!!

Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.

We have nothing with the outcast and the unfit: let them die in their misery. For they feel not. Compassion is the vice of kings: stamp down the wretched & the weak: this is the law of the strong: this is our law and the joy of the world. Think not, o king, upon that lie: That Thou Must Die: verily thou shalt not die, but live. Now let it be understood: If the body of the King dissolve, he shall remain in pure ecstasy for ever. Nuit! Hadit! Ra-Hoor-Khuit! The Sun, Strength & Sight, Light; these are for the servants of the Star & the Snake.I am the Snake that giveth Knowledge & Delight and bright glory, and stir the hearts of men with drunkenness. To worship me take wine and strange drugs whereof I will tell my prophet, & be drunk thereof! They shall not harm ye at all. It is a lie, this folly against self. The exposure of innocence is a lie. Be strong, o man! lust, enjoy all things of sense and rapture: fear not that any God shall deny thee for this.I am alone: there is no God where I am.

Now that has to be the longest response to any of my poems. Heh, heh. I do believe that I've written of one of your influences, aye?

Your lifestyle to me seemed so tragic,
with the thrill of it all.
Your fooled all the people with magic.
Yeah, you waited on Satan's door.

Mr. Charming, did you think you were pure?
    Mr. Alarming, in nocturnal rapport.
Uncovering things that were sacred, manifest on this earth. Conceived in the eye of a secret, and they scattered the afterbirth.

    Was it polemically sent?
I want to know what you meant...
