My Lover found me in the dark


He kindly took me and made me a new heart

 

He is a Prince and I'm dirt

yet He cared to know my hurt

He cared to see me through thick

 

and thin

 

 

He cared to let in the light  

 

He cared to show me a new height

 

 

My Lover knows me inside out

 

He knows me outside in 

 

 

He brought me down to the narrow lane
