That sunshine smiles and trees will sway
Incredible how you make me feel
I wish it would be something real
To know I'll never have you stay
In my arms for another day
To realise that this all was fake
This happiness I had hoped to make
You broke my heart and turned away
Said "today is just a rainy day"
When really I had died inside
To know you would not be my guide
I trusted you, you made me sane
Now your intentions are very plain
You were never looking for something real
Just looking for something new to steal
I watched you as you walked away
This hole in my heart will forever stay
It was incredible how you made me feel
I only wished it would be real
