comprehend how the seasons
lean on our memories.
winter is never far
when a poet rests inside resolutions
that will shatter,
like brittle kisses.
earth’s eyelashes frost.
the hibernating hum
of icicle gazes
makes the wind move.
the surface of your spiraling
fingerprint catches snowflakes.
examine how similar
the frozen eyes are.

Awesome, Jo. I love this poem... Just love the last stanza... and all the "snowflakes" and cold "frozen eyes". Very beautiful.

no critiques here, sorry.
there is so much beauty and truth to this poem.
sounded corny but true.
