Yes, I am a Cat, furry and well cared for by my humans
This fence is one of my favourite places to relax
The lake and green hills peaceful and calming
Birds often perch here, safely, to enjoy the beauty
My memories run deep and vivid
I have lived bygone Days of Glory and Days of Infamy
Memories of mans inhumanity to man and
Glorious Days of Pharoahs and Atlantis
My present Life peaceful
My owners love me and we share a bond
Well, the sun is beginning to set
I best get home and make the dog go through her

Interesting take on the prompt, yet very clever and mildly amusing. I wasn't expecting the central character to be a cat when I saw the title, was expecting the angel angle. well written and definitely creative, best wishes to you.
