The 13th of September,
The world changed forever,
In one small tourist beach town.
One high school was forever scarred,
Over 2,000 students were changed for life,
A small group lost a friend and fellow classmate.
Life in September changed forever,
In one small town,
Where morals run high and everything is religion based.
On the 13th of September,
One small high school found out,
A classmate had died.
It was 24 hours later we found out,
On the 12th of September,
One student had put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger...
Author notes
This is a true story, i did have a student shoot himself on the 12th of september. he did go to my school and yes i did know him. i went to middle school with this guy... now he's 6 feet under buried all alone for an eternity in time... because of one bullet.

there is always more to the picture
and sad it is for all the innocent victims...who bear the thoughts of absence...but for those like family who will never understand...life becomes a small torture...
suicide is never an answer...talk is cheap...but sometimes it may just save a life -
I'm so sorry to hear of that. I know how hard it is to deal with the pain of suicide. It must have been really hard.

Suicide is such a painful and hard thing for all those left behind. It may end their pain, but many others end up living the pain of their loss. Good luck to you in the contest.
