Flight of many miles
to avoid the frost
If it should occur
so many will be lost
Fragile in existence
so beautiful to view
But you can’t save them
there’s nothing you can do
Millions in flight
they barely make a sound
No one even knew
that they were around
On and on they fly
on this journey of silence
Like a magnet drawn
into perfect existence
Clouds of wings in flight
cover all my skies
the impact of this sight
is a wonder to my eyes

Wonderful imagery. I could actually see the butterflies. Great job!
