"Nichtarier werden gebeten, die Kirche zu verlassen."
I can still feel him,
forced into a corner
of the easily disposable Sunday morning church
where little Aryan sheep
are taught about the sins the Jews have committed.
"Nichtarier werden gebeten, die Kirche sofort zu verlassen."
One day things will be different:
No more lies will be taught.
We will be brothers and sisters,
we will be one church again.
We will not be separated anymore,
no more "German Christians", directed by the Führer.
Only us, those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ,
not in the Führer.
"Nichtarier werden gebeten, die Kirche sofort zu verlassen."
If so, how come the crucifix
is still hanging on the wall?
Don't you realize your own insanity?
Don't you know that YOUR heroic Jesus
is not caring at all?
Do you think he likes the silly stories
you are making up?
The crucifix is still there.
But for how long? - I wonder.
Author notes
"Nichtarier werden gebeten, die Kirche (sofort) zu verlassen."
"Non-Aryans are requested to leave the church (immediately)."

I'm not really sure if I like it the way it is... I'd like to hear your opinion.

I like the other one better, this sounds kind of incomplete, as if you wanted to say more but just didn't find the words. But this one is good as well. I would give you two applause on this one, but I gave you two on the other one which I like better, so I'll give one. I hope that doesn't matter.
What does matter is the content of your poem. I'm so happy that I didn't live in this time. So true words spoken here.

It reads simplistic yet as well as if it's giving a point (which is strong in itself) yet doesn't really carry it anywhere. It's like there's something before it, and perhaps something after it yet neither one is even sketched upon. In my opinion, that is.
it seems like a draft of something bigger.

Oh, the twists on God, according to the man in power in the land!
How true and how terribly poignant... We might all appreciate worshiping as we please and loving God as we feel we should. A fine poem, dear Annie.
