We followed you

Passing the ruins and broken windows
life-less and covered by dust,
I realize that
you used us for your purposes,
never thinking of consequences.

There is nothing anymore.

We have become guilty,
we still are
because we let you use us,
we did not resist
although we knew what was going on.

You decided what needed to be done,
and we blindly followed.

so many poems about WW2 and Hitler, man... But all of them are good and true. This really is a dark one, maybe you should try and right something positive again so the dark thoughts cannot tear you down But it's great to express your feelings that way.
