A stroll in my internal garden
Never goes smoothly.
The path is uneven in places,
Often leading to a brick wall.
I'm scared of the shady corners,
That are overhung by dead branches.
There are heaps of untended business
That will not decompose.
I'd like to build a fire
To throw my worries on.
But only build a higher fence
So I can't be spied upon.

very clever...
Terrific metaphor - a walk in a unique garden - plenty of thought and scary paths to tread outside the norm. I like to read something with a different viewpoint. I think many of us may hide behind that higher fence.
I like the rhyme of the last lines.
Well done.
