The world is so caught up,
With all these ideas of war.
We loose sight of what it is;
Little we see in the killing of that is ours;
We have given our hearts away;
Death and Destruction.
The lives that fall for the power of an Idea.
And those still alive suffer with guilt.
And are broken down withe the misery of nightmares.
For this, for everything, We chose to ignore.
It moves us not,- Oh My! I'd rather not,
Hear the lies of the media's voice;
So I might not, think of that pain.
Have glimpses that bring tears to my eyes,
Have sight of lost fathers in daughter's eyes,
Or hear the widows with loss of hope.
