Hansel and Gretel has nothing on some people
they followed bread crumbs and landed where?
There is a trail which if chosen one walks for an eternity.
This trail bears due East...and never looks back for no-thing.
It lures one so discreetly, and completely, one continues forever.
Love graces its rugged path, and its elegance sustains your view.
Over hanging - over shadowing clouds test the road litigants
Hoping for dead stops and turn abouts or just plain drop outs.
Tumultuous storms overlap the road's surface threateningly, but still
brave travelers walk on, undaunted, steady as ever, enthused/instilled.
Heat rays bounce patterns of ill will toward all the courageous
who step one foot upon the road to start the journey, to catch them early.
But every now and then one catches a glimpse of one lone lover of lumpy lanes.
Making their way, precociously, they stagger; sometimes they falter, but still...
