listen to the silent hush
within the glow of sky
see tenderness
refined as porcelain
and gentleness
as calm of garland rose
then lightness will wing its way
through pristine heart
to those who hear
her touch

I think you should do well in the contest. It is a wonderfully unique interpretation of the picture. You've evoked a plethora of emotions from me as I read your work.

Perfect!
Using the senses to get to the spiritual ... how apt a poem to reflect upon the difference but also sameness of awareness ...
Words like porcelain and garland rose, and silent hush, tenderness, gentleness and lightness, give definition to sight, hearing, touch and feeling ...
So precious, a gold indeed.
Love
Myra
