~Illusion's Garden

Warm winds whisper
Tempting bare breasts

Seducing of innocence
The tenderness of her flame

Dancing upon stages
Of mossy petals
She keeps in time with crackles of open fire
Desire rules her heart

Trembling of speech~
Drinking in the promise
of erotic haze

Transfixed~
By the curve of open hips

Sprawling~
Satin limbs
and inviting lips...

Oh, but of the sulfur
as you gaze into blissful blaze

And of her beautiful garden

Illusion's gates~
You could never unchain~

tickled to see a beautiful silver on this wonderful poem...seems that inside of every woman is a secret garden. Often a woman is a mystery to be lived, not a riddle to be solved...lovely! blessings always sissy...love you bunches ~ Trisha

There is just something about a woman, that is deeply mysterious... You can light the match but can you ever really get past the heat of the flame...??? Would you know if you did??? Hmmm...

Lovely piece. Truly this piece reflects a woman's inner strengths and the sanctuary of her individual garden she relies upon for survival. Wonderful to this prompt. Well done.

This is achingly beautiful with its interplay of
delicate and flaming tones. I love the title, but
the ending line steals the show! So much of the
feminine divine is kept as mystery or illusion.
This is a very effective take on the prompt & art.

I believe the ending is the show stopper as well...smiles...
as it was intended to be!
I believe that inside every woman is an secret garden.
some share every seed that is hidden deep inside..while others protect its core...
      for reasons only she knows..
This is the greatest mystery or illusion of all...
      Enough said...smiles
Thank you so much for this beautiful comment and for hosting yet another lovely contest...
      many blessings

You and I are so very different, but so much alike at the same time. We both grab and claw at 'something' no matter what the topic. In this write you got the erotic flower blooming so to speak and it did work! The problem for me is that I am not sure if it worked in its earnestness or because I knew it was you. What I'm saying is that if I was reading author unknown, I'm not sure it would have been as erotic. It's you! It's because it's you! RC

      Your comment is very flattering...
I have been very busy lately working on side projects, I have neglected several dear Ap friends.
I visited this contest again then decided to go to bed...however..this little dragonfly wouldnt allow sleep..so I wrote her words in red, which I never do...placed them in my notebook that I keep on my bed side table and then tried for sleep again...As you can see her thoughts as well as mine, needed to be placed here.
I would agree that this really is not my norm..If I have one?...lol
I do thank you so very much for this lovely comment...

Fourth stanza I think you meant "speech" but like your other work it's flawless. It has a beautiful quality...you've described the picture very well
