Whispered battles in my mind
Emotions spinning violently
Concealing feelings undefined
Unsure of what they mean to me
Grasping for stability
But failing every time
Seeing how things really are
With confusion intertwined
Searching for a heart’s desire
While teardrops stain the skin
So close yet so very far
Fearing a goodbye again
Changes now surrounding me
Inconsistencies exposed
Knowing now that it is time
To make my presence known

this was awesome, girl!!! i don't know if it was how i was reading it, but it sort of has this fast paced feel to it, like it is being said urgently. this piece was a great vent, and i hope your presence knocks everyone's socks off
