greying timber houses
damaged and condemned
ancient stores, fragile bridge
dusty streets no more than paths
lifelessness personifies the place
frozen in time, a graceless fall
life suspended, a photograph
the dead walk the roads
leaving their aged caskets
their earthly homes
to wander where once they lived
to stroll in the past,
where no one else dare tarry
Author notes
I love ghost towns, and that is what i see in the picture.
