My Lord Father
When my thoughts wonder
after a day’s work,
and my mind refuses
to stop thinking,
I am thankful to know
that when I talk
you have no difficulty
in owning mine.
I’m in constant awe
that You who aligned
this universe, enable me
to talk with unconcealed
heart; without a struggle
when I want to be me,
and know that someone
will truly listen.
With childlike mind
I visualize my prayers -
cleansed and strengthened
before reaching your ears,
and that none are discarded;
listened to and returned
on the time that I need
your blessing the most.

I think I might be known as the 'apologizer' or the 'drifter'!! But He has been faithful. Thanks for stopping by. Frans

I find that when I pray 'on paper', it is as if I am more conscious of my relationship with Him. Your contests are also times during which I retreat into my soul. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. Your award is much appreciated.

beautiful
If we all could come before HIM with childlike faith in mind so much more would be accomplished. Everytime I walk down the street I guess people think I'm a tourist for I'm always looking Heavenbound for I'm always awe by the beauty I see rather great or small. Your poem brings me there

You visualize the ideal scene,
perfect prayers sent upward,
received, returned in fullness.
A lovely sentiment, Frans.
