What must she think od me?
My hair, my face, my clothes.
What will she say, when she looks me in the eye?
Will she think I am crazy?
I throw up all my food.
I go through guys like I go through shirts.
A day passes and I blurt:
What have I become?
I look in the mirror each day,
Asking the question repeatedly.
She sees me now, takes a bow,
And asks me to stay.
Did you really like it?

this is a very sweet poem. If it has happened to you. kudos on the positive ending.
There is so much reality in this poem and it created a sad yet real piece.
"I go through guys like I go through shirts." this was an unexpected yet strong line. I really liked the poem.

I love this poem...written almost right to the point. you don't pull punches and i think its great! you have something to say, and you just say it. I think this is a really good piece. I believe that the poem is you trying to accept yourself (I hope i got that right), and i've been going thru that all my live and still go through that till this day! constantly looking myself in the mirror and asking (as jewel said it) what is this dirt looking at me in the face?! and learning to accept who we are. LOVED IT!
