I've come back again, I'm sure you knew
I would, and I tried to run, see I've
Seen that man before, which one she
Asked, the one who listens to the lies
You repeat, and it's like a carousel,
Haven't I seen this before? Didn't she
Hurt me like this? But still those lips,
That commit the most wonderful sins, those
Sensual hips that walk in and out of my life
Atop the longest legs, and that laugh, and
I threw the glass against the floor, and
In the pieces I saw my resolve, shattered
Hopes, should I kneel, see I admit defeat,
While my pride rattles his chains, I thought
I was tired of pain, but those lips they
Won't leave my mind, those hips I've missed,
That laugh that swims in my veins, so I
Threw the glass against the floor, see
I've been here before.

Your poem was really well done, I really enjoyed it. I loved the ending of the poem the best. Starting at " Hopes, should I kneel..." Great job and thanks for entering
