Cupid shot an arrow, it went straight to my heart,
And now my love for you never will depart.
To me you are an angel, sent from up above
I thought I was in heaven but no it’s only love.
This state that I am in, sitting here today,
So full of emotion I cant begin to say.
What I can't wait to see, is where our futures lie,
The love that I now feel, knowing it won’t die.
Spending life with you that is my endeavour,
For eternity I'll love you, thats always and forever.

Another one of my love poems that I have written. I wrote a couple of them in the days before valentines day this year. It was written for my ex Trish. The poem was written February 13th 2003.

You will probably notice if you look through my other poetry that Almost all of my poems are rhyme. I try to keep a steady flow with most of them as well. Even with the freeverse poetry that i ahppen to write every now and then. -
