Tomb stones,
And lemon pies.
Just think back,
To the best of times.
Great friends,
Old lovers, will be there,
Within the memories,
Which we share.
Ice cream shops,
And Billy Joel,
Spread happiness,
Within my soul.
And walking,
In a frozen wood,
Brings feelings that,
Nothing else could.
Birthday cakes,
And flying kites,
And friends to call,
On lonely nights.
The flowers, sun,
The leaves, the snow,
Each, hold a memory,
I know.
Ice skates,
And tire-swings,
Dinner with friends,
Such simple things.
They keep me happy,
To be here,
And keep me holding,
My life dear.

Wow I think this is pretty impressive for me being in a state of depression...
Please tell me what you think

I think you may have lifted your own depression with this, it certainly did mine.
People are forever saying these days, 'forget the past and move on' as if, somehow it were possible to move out of your life like an old house or something. We have bad times yes, but if we sit down and list the simple, sweet memories, like you have just done, we find all the best and wonderful things one could want. Good times are made or experienced, not bought, as you have just proved. Very nice!

Yes you must always hold on to the best times of your life, because beliving in them will alow you hope that the future could be as bright as those days.

Realy? Yey!
I'm extreemly surprised I could write like this today, but I guess I needed to because it brought up my mood also.
I sent it to Shika who recognized the parts that were about spending time with him, and he likes it.
