Carpeted Hill

Where am I?
I wonder to myself.
But it's so beautiful I could cry

The light golden color
For sunshine's rays to light up
This hills are so multicolored

And the purple haze
Is so wonderful
it puts me in a daze!

The orange flowers
Compliment nature
As the time ticks by the hours

The green
Of how alive
Makes me feel like a queen.

All the colors and shades
Bring me back from hell
Who knew the best aid
Would be from a carpeted hill?

A very nicely written piece of poetry. I like how you explained the colors. Thank you for sharing in the contest.

I could see how this picture would be a place to intoxicate with the beauty and fragrance of flowers...such beauty would sink inside me like a pebble falling in the pond...
