Staring at one spot.

Staring at one spot,
For a lifetime,
Never looking away,
The rest of the worlds in mime,

Because you can’t see,
Beyond black and white,
There are no yellows or pinks,
You don’t have any sight,

Focusing on one part,
Of your brain,
Ignoring any cries,
Of anger or of pain,

But not even you,
Can be that blind,
In the corner of you’re eye,
You can see the rest of your mind,

You see some flashes,
Some fresh reality,
You shy away,
You almost are a fatality,

But still you can just see,
Maybe only a bit,
You can see a glimpse,
Of something that gives you a fit,

You back away in shock,
This can’t be right,
But it is, Mark,
You’re finally getting some sight,

It’s dawning on you,
Panic comes clear on your face,
You can see the damage you’ve done,
You’re heart begins to race,

You look around,
And faces stare at you,
The faces you have hurt,
Treaded on with your shoe,

So you stare at one spot,
For a lifetime,
Never looking away,
The rest of the worlds in mime.

I wave my hand in front of you’re face,
But you’re back in black and white –
We are wrong, You are right,
We deserve to be spit at and never see the light,

You’re back in your comfort zone,
Finally back in peace,
All you’re worries and fears,
They immediately cease,

Staring at one spot,
For a lifetime,
Never looking away,
The rest of the worlds in mime.
