This isn’t a poem about love,
It’s about total adoration,
This is something I’ve never felt before,
A completely new sensation,
A little tingle up my neck,
Tells me you’re around,
I can simply feel your presence,
You don’t have to make a sound,
Valentine’s Day won’t do me,
It’s only once a year,
I need more love from you,
Than that one day of warmth and cheer,
For you aren’t just what I breathe,
You aren’t just what my heart beats for,
You aren’t just what I crave,
You are everything I need – right down to the core,
This isn’t a poem about love,
It’s about total adoration,
This is something I’ve never felt before,
A completely new sensation.
