hope of splendor

Filling me with splendor
That comes from only You
Your touch always so tender
Your words always so true

In me there is now wonder
Because I follow you
Nothing will take me under
I know You’ll see me thru

Empty shell that I am
Please fill me with your love
You will not condemn
You’re gentle as a dove

The love that you now give me
Is more than I can hold
Sharing all I now agree
To stand tall and be bold

Thank You Precious Father
For always being there
For Christ, my Holy brother,
Please hear my humble prayer

    Goodness...oh, my...this

poem was the last to be featured in the contest
Splendor...and if there was a thread of heart or
anguish left...it sure has been completely, throughly,
    erased..........
the poetic beauty of your soul shines through in this
poem, and humbling and strengthening it is!!!!!!
The splendor of being so fully loved!
    well done poet, well done!
