Tattered rag dolls, broken toys,
patched up dresses, forgotten joys.
smile- less faces, tearful eyes,
running noses and hearts that cry.
Unkempt hair and dirty feet,
wordless mouths- the same story they repeat-
Of love lost in the oblivion of being,
and visions of future, no more freeing.
The agony of a parched soul,
the feeling of having lost all control.
Growing up into an adulthood of pain,
with tattered dolls and tears again.
