All I wanted was you
And to be my bride
Wash away all the pain
With the coming of the tide
It wasn't meant to be
But it still hurts good
Even though I have moved on
And married someone good
All I wanted was us
In a picture on the wall
Standing by you I was
Feeling ten feet tall
I remember you were with him
And I took you away
You were looking for him
His pasture greener by the day
What I did to him
You then did to me
Took away someone I loved
And you never really loved me
All I wanted was you
And to be my bride
Everything I ever wanted
Then became to me denied
Now a picture of me
And my wife on the wall
Guarding this with my life
Better stay out of my stall
My eye on my wife
So no one takes her away
To deserve her every day
So my love will stay
All I wanted was you
And I have moved on
The pain still feels fresh
But I know where I belong

Wow very nicely done. I can feel this deep inside. Though I know more of the store even if I didn't, it would tell it perfectly. Well done!!
