this pain has dug into my soul
the tears i cry have been untold
the things i see come back to me
invading my mind
never to leave
as i lay by your side
keeping quiet trying to hide
hiding the fact that i'm crying inside
all i feel is pain
all that's leaving is my pride
the darkness closes in on me
so dark and cold
the pain i feel is as hard as stone
cuz I'm completely numb
you just don't know
how the pain you inflected on me
has tore into my soul.
