His Grace (Hutain)

For I have sinned and fallen short

yet my Lord has given me grace,

His loving arms give me support

I continue to seek his face.

He brings me to a better place

opened my hearts door- He walked in,

arrogant ways He then replaced

when He forgave me for my sin.

This is lovely - a new form for me, and simple and elegant. I like the depth you achieved in such a short piece.

A lovely, heartfelt write. You kept to the form perfectly. Very good flow, rhyme and tone. Lovely depth of feeling. Nice rhythm. Good word choice, assonance and nice alliteration. Well done and a much enjoyed read.

Another good work here, sis. The only thing I would do would remove "did" (seems unnecessary) and change "replace" for "replaced.

    But that's just me.

We must remember that grace is a gift. Like all gifts it must be used to the benefit of the gifted one as well as the glory of the Giver. Jesus said, "To whom much is given, much is required." Grace to save is grace to change. That's our hope and His glory.

    God bless, girl!
