A boy, a girl,
crashing waves.
A hopeful glint,
a cheeky smile.
Pretence of innocence.
No longer able to resist.
The long awaited,
perfect kiss.

I liked the imagry you put forward and the way somehow I could actually hear the ocean in the background, and feel the innocense behind that first kiss... of course not all of us get to have that scene for our first kiss. *sigh* o well. I really liked this, ohhh and thanks for commenting on my poem "Time Suspended" it meant alot. ciao

Short and sweet, I love it. Especially the lines -
"Pretence of innocence.
No longer able to resist." For being less than 30 words, you still managed to make it a beautiful write. Keep it up.
All the best, quicksilver
